Need to move this one to the highlights Ben!

Do you have any close up shots of his left side. That is a cool looking rack.

Yeah, Chris I have some other pictures that show the entrance wound and even a picture of the heart. I just didn't want to bore or be too graphic for some. I'll see if I can increase the size of them if you'd like and I do have a closer view of the rack. I've removed the plate with the rack and I could take a picture of the left side on the plate. I even have some of the stand, licking, branches, scrapes, rubs and fields if anyone is interested, They show the funnel effect well also.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Heck yes we want to see more pictures.   :campfire:

For future pictures you may want to set the picture size in your camera. There should be a setting under the camera's menu that will allow you to adjust the picture size to 640 wide.   :goldtooth:

Here is a look from the top of the hill looking west. There is a good bedding area to the east, so these openings create a natural funnel heading down towards the creek bottom. My old dependable stand is in the second opening on the left side.

One of the little bucks made a rub about 60 yards north of where I shot this guy. They really like a little tree they can bend and wiggle around. LOL

We don't have many oaks on our home place, many hedge, elm and locust. The deer really like the oaks for licking branches and scrapes. In my pictures if there is an oak retaining leaves there is most likely and scrape under it.Here is a well used licking branch.                     And a scrape below it.

I like to tuck my stands back into cedars to help cover my shape and any movements if possible. Here are three different locations.Look close they are in the center of the pics. and are all ladder stands.
