What are you thankful for?
« on: November 24, 2010, 09:14:00 AM »
I believe we have so much to be thankful for. Living in the United States of America, we can openly worship God, our creator of the world and all its animals that we get to hunt and them share the meat with friends and family. We can hunt without to much regulation. We get to elect our earthly leaders. We can speak openly about our beliefs. I personally am thankful for these things along with my wife, Jill, my friends, having a home to live in and food on my table every day. I am thankful God protects me and forgives me for my sins.

Lost big after the hurricane. Not complaining. Totally Blessed to have what I do! Most is finding God's Blessing 10 years ago...my health, family, friends, & animals, & bowhunting to round it all out.

I am thankful that God gave me a wonderful family, a beautiful fiance that enjoys and respects the things I love to do, and the ability to do the things I love to do.  I am also thankful for a sight like this that has good people with similar beliefs and morals.  I am also thankful for the freedom we have here in America to express our opinions, vote, and the right to pursue happiness.

I'm first thankful for My Savior and how he healed my Father this last week, when things were looking bad for him. And how he protected my son last weekend when he flipped my  S.U.V. 5 times and walked away.

Also, I'm thankful for those customers that hire me to build them a bow.  They allow me to develope my skill, to learn new ways and of course, to build bows.  (I also get paid for it but that's secondary.)

I am thankful for quite a bit but sitting right on top of the list are my three Grandchildren, the most important people in my life right now.

I'm thankful for:
Christ and my relationship with Him,
my family,
good health and a healed rotator cuff,
my country,
2010 election results...mostly, and for
financial blessings.
