What a fantastic Idea.

Is the target backing a bunch of cardboard strapped together? [/b]
Yes it is. Work at the time was throwing out a bunch of boxes, so I took them and banded them toghter and made a cheap "block " target out of them. Works great. Holds up ok to carbons, but dont shoot wood into them . I made that mistake before and the arrow was almost impossible to get out

I'm really happy I posted this thread because a few people chimed in and now I have the furnace and the hot water heater FULLY protected, "just incase". My hats off to everyone suggesting that one, you all probably just saved my hide incase an arrow does get away.
Well, I was gonna ask how long it would be until we saw a "Honey, I need to buy a new furnace" thread but looks like you took care of that issue.
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

I can only get 10 yds into my storage room, but nothing too delicate in there to hit.

I see a lot of potential explaining and expensive fixing to have to do along the route.   ;)   That said, I have shoot indoors in: 1) my old trailer house, 2) an appartment while I was student teaching, 3) an army hotel room at Ft. Sill, 4) my parents' shop at home, and perhaps assorted other places I have forgotten.  Nice work!!  Enjoy!

I jealous. If I cut a hole in my wall, I will need a rock saw and sledge hammer, then I will have dirt!

Great ingenuity.

Ya know if you put in a stud right next to those sewer lines you could put hinges on the wall and just open when needed and swing closed when not.  :saywhat:

Nice job, makes me realize that living down south has its pluses. Long seasons and year round shooting outside.

Sorry dude...don't like it. Already I can see a dead refrigerator & arrow sized peeholes through what's left of the sheetrock. That's if it was me. Harder I try not to hit something the quicker I do.

Next step is to make a hole in the ceiling/floor to simulate a shot from a tree stand!! Lol.Good shooting to you.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
