When I went to Vermont awhile back, I took my selfbow cause that's what I had. I've never been able to shoot it accurately consistantly. When I shot Dave's and Doc's bows, I was a little more accurate. Then Dave pointed out a flaw in my tempo and form, and that helped. With my selfbow the more I shot, the more erratic I got. We determined that it could be the fact that she looses power the longer she's strung.
Being that these guy's hearts are as big as can be, they got together and sent me a bow. Dave tried to swap his Shrew, which he just got and has not been able to shoot due to his surgery, and which Doc fell in love with, to Doc for a bow for me. Doc decided to just send me a bow which he had. Wouldn't take anything from Dave or me. Folks, it's a Kota Badlands, 58" and 40#@27. She's in perfect condition. Osage limbs and looks like Bacote handle.
