And most of all it's about this:

When I went to Vermont awhile back, I took my selfbow cause that's what I had. I've never been able to shoot it accurately consistantly. When I shot Dave's and Doc's bows, I was a little more accurate. Then Dave pointed out a flaw in my tempo and form, and that helped. With my selfbow the more I shot, the more erratic I got. We determined that it could be the fact that she looses power the longer she's strung.
Being that these guy's hearts are as big as can be, they got together and sent me a bow. Dave tried to swap his Shrew, which he just got and has not been able to shoot due to his surgery, and which Doc fell in love with, to Doc for a bow for me. Doc decided to just send me a bow which he had. Wouldn't take anything from Dave or me. Folks, it's a Kota Badlands, 58" and 40#@27. She's in perfect condition. Osage limbs and looks like Bacote handle.

My first group (of mix-matched arrows) looked like this:

The second Aluminium turned the target and the last woodie almost robinhooded the one before it.

Wow! I had to look again because I didn't notice that other arra the first time.  That's what gives you that great feeling inside: when your shooting comes together.  I think I'll go outside and launch a few, then do a little work on my floor-tillered mulberry stick.
Hey, uh....Dave & Doc....I've been realllly needing a 58" r/d longbow.....it, uh, would prolly would held my form a lot.  ;)

I meant HELP my form.  Come to think of it, my form would look great with a 58"er in profile!  :archer:

I don't know when I will be there, but I might get a chance to go to Cabela's in Wheeling when I visit my family in WV this fall.  If I do, maybe we could meet there.  It would be about half way for both of us.

That's only about 2 hrs for me and I have friends who hunt in that area. That would be a real good way for us to hook up. Cabelas it is!!

I would really enjoy that Doc.  I leave for a short trip to Toronto late tonight, but when I get back, MY TIPPIT KNIFE is getting a special sheath.  Still trying to decide on a design.

Are you guys flexible on the day???

I won't know for sure when I will be there for a month or so yet.  I would REALLY enjoy meeting you ALL.  IF this happens, you do know we will probably get arrested.  LOL!!!
