Thanx guys...PB usually is fine for me....

Any way here's the other video...

The end of this one pretty much sums this morning up for me...

Cade did a great job under tuff tracking conditions...

The shot was in fact just as I saw it, and right where it needed to be.  When I showed dad where the deer was standing when I shot I asked him how far he thought the shot was...

I had figured about 25yds....he thought more like 30...because of the brush and briars, I never paced it off. All I know is that it was much further than what I usually shoot, but I never, ever think distance when I shoot....I just know...

My sons knife on top that was made and given to him by our good buddy "Glenbo"....and my knife that was made and given to me by "Stickshooter"...we bloodied them both...

The two most important men in my life...

We got the deer tagged and hung in Dads barn, then went inside to share it all with my Mom who had breakfast started for us.

Like the title says...tuff to put into words what this one means to me...what this day signifies, and who I shared it with...I'm at a loss....

Great video and great shot! Congrats on a great deer and an even better memory with your son and dad! You know the number 7 is one of God's favorite numbers. Looks like he sent you a great gift to help replace a bad memory you had 7 yrs. ago. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy your posts.

Fantastic hunt and story. That reminds me of why I enjoy hunting so much. It's interesting how you just know when its the right time to send an arrow. Thats a special hunt.
