This is a pic of my son Sam and I on our way out last month after a nice time in the stand.

Sam is also my avatar with his first traditional harvest on our old home place in South TX. Boy did that rabbit taste good!

Terry, I named him Schafer before I could afford one of the bows. But I did name him after Paul, he was born the year after Paul died. Good thread! I wish I had more pics of my daughter but I guess she decided it wasn't for her anymore.

No kids of my own, but lots of nieces & nephews.  Here's one of my nephews at the end of a morning sit with me in a double ladder stand during an almost-annual trip back east.

Good times.

My kids grew up pre-digital cameras. But I have a few of my grandsons first day shooting his longbow.
These are July 2009, he was 1 year and 5 months old. (This is actually the first arrow he ever shot. Grandma kept telling him to look at the camera.)

Okay, Your fingers go here....

You hit where you look, stop looking at the camera..

Look at the deer, not the camera!

Have a few of him shooting the 3d turkey without my help. Just have to find which card they are hidden on. He will be 3 in February and is actually doing pretty well by himself.

I have two boys that are grown so I had to borrow a kid (Edwin) from my buddy.  Edwin's dad approached me one day and said his boy was interested in archery but neither he nor his son knew where to start.  He knew I shot a bow so he asked if I could help.  I was happy to oblidge.

These are from out hunt last winter at Curtis Keller's place. This was Matties first out of state hunt with me and she didn't do so well when 3 javies came through the brush about 5 or 6 yards away.
