My favorite arrow after 4.5 decades of shooting is the Beman MFX Classic. I just "discovered" this year. I also have Easton Legacy Aluminums which I cut the swage of and install an uni-bushing so I can rotate nocks.
I don't shoot wood. I messed around with making wooden arrows a half-dozen years ago, sealing, cresting, etc. However, I never owned a wooden arrow I thought was straight enough. I realize this is because I am too ignorant when it comes to making and caring for wood arrows.
