Well.......You got my attention!
I'll have to start watching this thread myself. Even though I mostly use arrow wraps......that's kinda cool and I might have to give it a shot this winter. I've got some old carbons laying around that would be perfect to test my skills on for this.

It's winter, I guess the cold makes the dry slower than if he did it in the summer. I'm sure he will post it when it's fully cured.

I've painted motorcycle gas tanks similar to that by painting one color over another and while the second color was wet, I laid saran wrap over it. Remove the saran wrap immediately. Clearcoat must be applied over it. Maybe you could try rolling the shaft over the wrap. Jack
