the dip paint is drying as we speak.  Im still trying to figure out how to get black paint to show up on water in a black bucket

I'll have to start watching this thread myself. Even though I mostly use arrow wraps......that's kinda cool and I might have to give it a shot this winter. I've got some old carbons laying around that would be perfect to test my skills on for this.

It's winter, I guess the cold makes the dry slower than if he did it in the summer.  I'm sure he will post it when it's fully cured.

I've painted motorcycle gas tanks similar to that by painting one color over another and while the second color was wet, I laid saran wrap over it.  Remove the saran wrap immediately.  Clearcoat must be applied over it.  Maybe you could try rolling the shaft over the wrap.  Jack

back to the top with this one.  I am starting to think about arrows for the summer and next deer season.  Would really like to do the swirly cap dip thing.  Somebody help me out with a tutorial please
