Need help identifing this track and scat

Over the weekend during our gun hunt in WI I came across this track and scat. This is whitetail country but we have a few moose that run around every once in a great while. Since I have no idea what moos scat looks like I thought the fine people of Trad Gang might be able to help. This track,scat and multiple beds was mixed in with a bunch of whitetail tracks and beds.

Yep moose although commonly moose scat is more elongate.

The track is from a heffalump the scat is that of a woosel. Elusive quarry, I'm suprised they left any sign at all.

Looks like a moose that ate an '06 cartridge.

It`s not moose poop, it`s "Whoppers" malted milk balls, and what looks like a hoof print is actually from a rifle butt, set in the snow in a couple different positions, as he tried to pick up his spilled candy.

Looks like meatballs.  try them with spaghetti, they're awesome with red sauce.

I was likewise thinking that the poop looked like a rifle cartridge. . . I wonder if it was gut shot!

I lean toward elk as well, though if you were close to Rhinelander, it might be a Hodag. Thought they were extinct, but there might still be a few around.

This is on my hunting property on Hwy 32 in Wabeno,Wi (Forest County). I talked to a couple of neighbors and evidently a small bull moose has been seen in the area. We do see them once in while farther north near the UP border but this is as far south as I've heard of them.

I will have to respectfully disagree.  It was definatly made from one of those sneeches with stars upon thars.

I would say moose also, if it is a young guy he might have been run off by the bigger ones. it is the dew claw marks at  the back the make me say moose. Remindes me of seeing them in the mud along river backs in AK.

not a great picture but the camera is 4 ft off the ground. I went back into the area I found all the beds and all the saplings were browsed and broken off at about 7ft high

That is def. moose tracks and droppings. Some Canadians burn the mooose scat to keep the skeeters away. It works pretty good.
