MCNETT Camo Wrap
« on: December 01, 2010, 12:22:00 PM »
Hope this is the right area for this post.
Has anyone used Mcnett or any other type of non stick camo wrap on their recurves? I have a 15" wood blend riser w ILF limbs and do not want to gum it up or paint it, not just yet anyways.
Have used the Mcnett brand on some of my firearms and was wondering if it would be good or bad for a recurve? Was thinking it might help dampen or quiet it somewhat. Any advice appreciated.

Never heard of that brand? I just use limb covers, they slide right on and off. I rarely cover my limbs though.

The Limbskins work great for me and they do quiet things down a bit. They are a spandex material that holds tight to the bow. They also protect against the nicks, dings, and scratches that come with hunting season.

3 Rivers has them, under $20 I think?
