A Rose for Kentucky
«

December 04, 2010, 02:47:00 PM »
I ordered the bow below after being "introduced" to Rose Oak Creations by Trad Gang's "Jeremy". Been waiting 9 months. Bow was mailed yesterday.
The bow is LH, 60", & 46# at my 26" draw (~52# @ 28"). The riser is Coco and Bocote with Bocote limb veneers.

I hope it does arrive on Monday so I'll have one day to shoot it before headed out for 2 days of conference in Alabama.
I found Brandon very easy to work with. He isn't shy about sharing his opinions on certain things which I like because I'm not a bowyer. He agreed to do the bow in Cocobolo even though he has a slight alergy (his words)to this wood.

I just Love the wood combination you have chosen and the workmanship to put it together! Very easy to look at and I'm sure will shoot as good as it looks. You will let us know.Right?

Very nice indeed. I have been eyeing Brandon's site as well for those bows and I got the urge to get one. Let us know your thoughts once you get it and shoot it. Flint
