Looks like liver to me. If it was he was dead in 15 min or less. Nice buck getting him stuffed?

I think PA-spot is dead on.. He looks like a duplicate for mine except mine was a bit more straight across.  Arrow hit a blackberry cane in the last foot of flight and moved about 4"  If it was, likely he was dead inside of 2 min.  Thats what mine did.

( pa-spot) i do all my own taxidermy and for coworkers and freinds, and ive got plenty of pope-n-youngs on my walls already, i just dont think hes quite big enough to mount, just my first with stick and string, it wont be the last though, they get bigger from here on, i hope!   thanks guys,glag to be apart of this site, ive learned alot,and il continue learning...arrow   p.s.  oh i might mount it.....  :dunno:

I've found that a hard 1/4ing hit drops them fast..
takes out liver and a lung and down they go....
