Makes for a lot of fun when things come together, I hope it took your mind off the cold and sore neck. And with a new bow yet. Congrats

Congrats!
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward.So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Once again, thanks for kind words. I hope that the meat tastes good.  I've heard that the older boars don't taste good, but I will have to find out for myself. Wish that I didn't hang the bow on a treestep in the wind. Got some scratches on the belly.

A few scratches on the bow will remind you of a great hunt down the road. Adds character, just like a few scars on people.

Bows and best friends have scars, you know the stories and the scars serve as certificates of authenticity.

Killdeer
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Damn Pat! I know I said you should shoot some local critters, so you do a double?!! Nice shooting. Any way, hope you get feeling better soon, and enjoy the eats. I gotta stop finding your threads so late.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
