Grizzly vs. El Grande Heads
« on: December 06, 2010, 01:22:00 PM »
Hi guys,
I was wondering what is the difference in these heads.  I know the El Grande comes in a heavier head, but it also comes in a 160 like the grizzly.  They are both made with the same material.  Is the El Grande longer and a little wider?  Thanks for the help.

You have it, the El Grande is longer and wider although only marginally so at around 1/16" wider than a standard.  The 160 standard is a good bit thicker than the 160 El Grande but not as long.

The two toughest Grizzlies IMO are the 160 standard and the 200 El Grandes, although all of them are plenty tough (excluding the light weight green one).

We have some additional information and measurements on our website here:
