Here is Mike's latest creation. This is his first 2pce longbow. Bow is 51" and 52#@26". Riser is pauduk and leopard wood.Mike also did a sheep horn grip and tip overlays.I skinned the bow w/ copperheads, they match the riser wood great.Haven't had time to shoot it much as it was -2 degrees this morning. When I did take a few shoots, bow was silent. I'm very impressed w/ this latest bow.

A few more
a couple before I skinned it.You can see the maple lams, which gave a nice light background for the copperheads.

There apparently isn't much that Mike won't at least try and usually when he does these are the kind of results we have come to expect.
Nice bow!! Great job Mike!
Congratulations on what looks to be a keeper.

Dang, I like the riser on that bow! Mike sure has some talent. Congrats and be sure to follow up when you get a chance to shoot it some more.

I just ordered a bow from Mike. My first long bow, but it will be a while before I see it. I guess he's pretty busy

Thanks for sharing Mike. That bow bolt is about the slickest thing I've seen yet. A great invention. I wouldn't want to use it with action wood or dymond wood but with hardwoods it's great.
You sure did a great job on those snake skins. I really like seeing those on bows. (I can't put skins on bows though becuase I have a pet snake, but I have nothing against other doing it.)
Sure does dress up those limbs.
