« on: December 13, 2010, 10:24:00 AM »
Yes,the little Fella did it again I was just sent the pics of my new Buffalo bow and to say its beautiful would be an understatement.
She's 60",60#@28" her handle is presentation Kingwood with great looking Waterfall bubinga limbs with Gemsbok horn overlays AND a special Big Jim Quiver to match .Pics coming shortly.
Talking with Jim and his wife in the last year has truly been a pleasure and finer people I don't know of .All my thanks to Jim for the two wonderful pieces of art and weopons he has provided me with.
I promised Rick Wilshire I'd get these up as soon as I got them.I'm just waiting for Kipp to get back to me so I can send them to be posted here and on Jims Website,C'mon KIPP !LOL.

I've been waiting for this one! Wow, what a beauty Steve! I love Jim's riser design, and those woods are gorgeous. Hold on, gotta wipe-up some drool. That Waterfall Bubinga makes for some awesome limbs, and the Kingwood has great character. Awesome bow indeed! Another masterpiece by Big Jim. Quiver is cool too. Congrats!   :notworthy:    :notworthy:    :clapper:    :clapper:

Larry Jim sent me some pics through the building stage and Although I love the feel of the Beavertail grip the riser was so nice I didn't want to cover it up,so Jim put on a little smaller grip.Yea I like it too!

that would be a tough decision for me, whether to go for a naked grip with checkering or the bevertail  :dunno:

As much as I like the georgeous exotic woods that are available, I believe in function first. Fashion is a close second.
this piece of Kingwood was so nice, that I hated to cover with a grip too, except there is a blemish (worm holes) that I stabilized beneath the grip. On top of that, the beaver tail adds an exotic flare in itself, not to mention it is the finest grip there is. In a pinch, you can use it to pack mud into a damm too!
