Can you suggest a dvd.  I was thinking Masters of the Bow.

Master of the Barebow series is the best.

Hawkeye

I think the best of the bunch is Masters of the Barebow 3.

Traditional bowhunting is often a game of seconds... and inches!

LBR

Masters of the Barebow III, and probably IV when it comes out.

Or, better yet, attend one of Rod's clinics.

Just my opinion-

I would get something other than Rick Welch's dvd.  I got one of his newer ones and was a bit disappointed.  He had some great tips and ideas about how to shoot well, but I guess I was expecting something a bit different.  The video had a lot of him shooting (and he's rather amazing, by the way) and a lot of testimonials of students of his as well as them shooting.  It just seemed like a lot of other stuff in there that I had to get through just for the good bits of shooting wisdom.  I found myself somewhat irritated by the time the dvd was finished.

Again, some really good info in there that can help, but I could just go to his website to see all of the students shooting and saying how great the school is.  Good luck and I hope you find something that helps you.

If you primarily interested in hunting, I would get a copy of the paperback by John Schulz, Hitting 'em Like Howard Hill.  He put out a DVD, that you might find in the Book and CD Forum, on TG.

I'll concur with Masters of the Barebow vol 3. Had a couple of tough years trying to learn to shoot instinctively and when I switched to Rod Jenkins method I made great progress and am still getting better. Byron Ferguson's dvd is good to, but not as detailed as MotB3. Also while I would like to attend Rod's clinic I can tell you this method is self teachable.

My thoughts exactly I used his shooting method to this day and I think starting out it's the best way to learn.JMHO
