Too sad for words. God Bless and comfort his family and loved ones. Prayers for a good man taken too soon.

I just got in and read this and am shocked. It's so very, very sad to hear this news. As I've stated before, I lost my father, a great son-in-law and one of my all time best friends in unexpected accidents. Although I will never understand why these things happen I really believe God had a reason and we all must trust in Him. My deepest condolences to Chris' entire family and to all his many friends. Chris will be missed in my part of the world.  He was one of my closest friends and an IBEP Instructor with our Alabama Program.
When I read the first post I was stunned.  I tried to read this entire thread, but have to stop...too many fond memories.
May the Great Spirit hold the Surtees Family in the saftey and comfort of His loving arms.
Godspeed Chris, I'll see you on the other side, keep the fire.
