I just came in from shooting arrows out of the quiver that I bought from Chris this year. The transaction was of course flawless, he seemed like a real good guy. My condolences & prayers to the Surtees family in this time of need.

Just got to Texas and gained access. I am so sorry to hear this. May the Lord give solace to Larry and the rest of the family. I pray that He gives strength where needed. I know that Chris is with Our Father in Heaven. I will miss him greatly and was looking forward to shaking his hand at Solana this year.

I just saw this and I can not believe it.  Chris was one of the good ones.  I hate it that I only met him once at our hunting club but we were planning to chase hogs this winter.  Our time on this earth is never guaranteed.  Prayers sent out to the Surtees family.

Chris and I shot a few emails back and forth about truck campers.  Got to know him a little better because of those emails.

I have a small wooden deer statue I got from Chris.  It's on the mantle and I'll think of him every time I see it.

I'll pray for Chris and his family.  So sorry for the loss.

Not two weeks ago I bought a tree stand off Chris.  As always, things went perfect.  Always enjoyed his level headed manner.  Sad, sad news.
