I am so sorry to hear this.  I talked with Chris a little over a week ago regarding bows, quivers, hogs, etc.  He was a fine gentleman.  Prayers sent for his family and friends....  Mark

My Condolences and Prayers to the Surtees family. I've had the privilege to share a camp with Chris and Larry a few times. A Patriot and Real Hero! This is awful news . He will be missed by many. Larry if I can do anything please feel free to let me know. You all will be in our prayers.

Terry called me to tell about Chris this morning...I was shocked...eight hours later I still am.

I'm a very emotional person , and don't handle news like this very well...Even though I only spent a week, earlier this year with Chris, It really was an honor to meet such a man!

What he has done in his service for our country is truly remarkable...he was a true patriot.

The stories he told were spellbinding. It's hard to believe that someone who has been through all he's been thru so far overseas has been taken from us close to home...some things are just very hard to understand.

It's amazing how someone can leave such an impression on you...he'll be missed by everyone who's life he touched.

Prayers sent to the Surtees family.

Larry, meeting you in a couple weeks is going to have a whole new feeling now...my heart is heavy for you brother...

I was so looking forward to seeing and hunting with him again in 2 weeks...
