One of our best indeed. Such a shock, and a sad thing to think on. God bless Chris, his father, Larry, and the rest of the family. Hard to believe we won't "hear" and "see" him here on tradgang in the future. Travel on, with my respect tucked in your seabag, my friend.

This is extremely sad to awake to this morning.
My prayers and condolences go out to Larry and the entire Surtees Family.
This is not only a loss to them but also to the entire Community. His dedication to give of himself to his bowhunting family, the St. Judes kids, his years of military service to the country, and his own family, will long be remembered and admired.
This is truly a great loss to us all.

Chris has interacted with many on this forum and will surly be missed. I also recently purchased something of his and will wear it in his honor.
Peace, prayers and blessings to the family.
