Can't make it on the 1st buddy. My wife is scheduled for surgery on the 3rd and my butt needs to be home for New Years Day... I know all will go well when your time comes around. Have a vodka for me. I left all that drinking in my past life.         :rolleyes:

I put up much to small of a fight, I am leaving for a  Hog Hunt the following weekend so, I figured this was not the time to fight.

What's hunting again?  I made it out one afternoon this season and I think 3 last season.  My kids are 3 and nearly 1 now.

I know Terry, I just like to complain where I can pretend someone will feel my pain. As far as marrying up, well you are right Becka is a catch. Not to take away her glory, just being married for me is marrying up.

I was just having a conversation at work today, If I were to do it all over again, I would marry a girl from a hunting family. Not only would I be able to hunt with the in laws, I wouldn't have to explain so much the need to be hunting all the time, she would have hopefully learned that from daddy.

When I have kids, I am getting one of those kiddie back packs, my kid will wear a back quiver and have to hand me arrows

You never know Charlie, I had Hunter in a backpack with me while scouting one day in July when he was a year and a half.  He started to cry and then cried louder.....I tried to quiet him to no avail and then heard an animal running our way.  It was a mature doe that ran and stopped ten yards from us, Hunter kept crying and that doe wasn't sure what to do.........he almost became my "deer call" that fall!
