Double Bull T2
« on: December 15, 2010, 11:50:00 AM »
What is the longest length bow that can be shot out off the DB T2 blind?

If you were on your knees could you shoot a longer bow?

Anybody got some experience shooting Longbows out of this blind?

I have shot a 52" Shrew Classic Hunter and a Bob Lee 54" Dark Archer out of the T2.

Not a chance.  You will need a T5 recurve model for that.

If you going to use a blind I suggest you use a 60" or shorter bow. I have shot a longer bow out of a blind, I had to canter the bow more than usual so the limb doesn't hit. The last thing you need is to worry about compensating while taking a shot.

Maybe with a super short bow, but i would buy the taller recurve model, i have one and you still have to watch any bows over 60" and i prefer a 56 " bow or shorter in my blind.

I have a little 52 inch Cascade that I shoot out of mine.  Tried longer, didn't work.

I shoot 62" longbow and recurve out of a matrix 360.  I've hunted in the T2 but had to make sure the limb was in the exact center of the blind which put my back against the back wall and made my elbow go out the back of the blind at full draw. It was a disaster!  Get a bigger blind.
