Bob Lee Question
«
on:

Hello..I have a new to me Bob Lee Signature takedown. I was putting it together and noticed that the sockets that are pushed into the limbs that receive the bolts are different depths..is this the rule and if it is which ones go where...Thanks.

Email or call Rob. You'll search long and hard to find a negative comment about that group. I've owned one of their bows - as good as it is the customer service seems even better

Are the bolts the same length? If not you might have a Quiver adapter such as one for Great Northern to attach bow quiver to the bow.

The Bolts are the same lenth. I remember the guy I trade bows with sent some longer bolts that he said was for a quiver attachment. The Bow shoots great and fits awesome too. The Limbs are firmly attached so its really no big issue. Its just one of those Elephants in a room thing..lol

The ones I have are the same lengths. The sockets just pop in and out. They sell replacements so could get a set and have them all be the same.
I'd guess that someone broke or lost one and replaced them with something from a hardware store.

I think the previous owner got longer sockets for the longer bolts for a quiver maybe a Great Northern. When I use my GN the sockets do not go into the limbs as much but have been using a Lee for 10 years with that kind of quiver with no problem.Kip

Gottabow, I think your talking about the bow you got from me. They are the original sockets and I bought the bow new; not sure why the different lengths. Glad it shoots good for you. -Josh
