We had about 35 hours on the train and it was spent relaxing......watching some Tom and Jerry   :biglaugh:

sitting in the observitory car                  ( notice Mick Mittens book!! Good Read!!)

playing games and watching the world go by.

Nice,thanks for sharing
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I had hopes of working on my first bow while i was there but found out that it wasnt going to work out.  I checked the shop out and with a setup like this you just got to find something to build..........

So I came up with the idea that I would build a small box for storing all my broadheads in......

Iv also wanted to learn how to hand cut dovetails, and that fit the bill for my project.

So with a warm fire we started in

I chose Tamerak for the body of the box with a Walnet top.
Heres what it looked like after I cut the tails and the tips with some of the tools used.

Then dry fited together

Looks like a wonderful trip with a picture book family. Those boys remind me of my 2 and 6 year olds. They're Tom & Jerry fans too!

Beautiful scenic pics by the way.
