I've been using a lighter stain instead of caps too. I like how they turn out.

 

 I tried my hand at splicing. You guys that do it sure have my respect, it took me forever to get these 6 made up.

Most guys' aluminums could use some dressing up, especially after the pains some go through to tune them. Alas the guys who do the best embellishment are also the guys most drawn to wood arrows. I also make lots of woodies but I've given my best sets away and don't have much to show. Until I finish my current set that is.

Mine are not fancy in anyway.. These are My Team Pink Arrows. These has 5.5" High back Banana cut & 4" Hybrid nana Cut feathers. Both sport 160grn Snuffers.
