Chasing Rabbits with My Shrew
« on: December 20, 2010, 02:27:00 PM »
No rabbits in the bag, but we had a good morning. Daisy ran 3, I probably could have killed them all with a shotgun.

The first one we chased this morning must be one that beat us last year....no circling, it just straight lined for 1/2 mile. I felt bad but I had to call her off.

The next couple ran figure 8's between Daisy and I in the thick stuff. I refuse to comment as to how many arrows I have left....

Roger,

I sure nuff could have used Daisy last weekend.  I was hound and shooter in the sage brush.  Many shots taken but all escaped with their hide.  No lost arrows, though.

Huntin cottontails is a blast.  Thanks for the photos and story.
