For some of the older folks (How many are memory challenged?)
« on: December 22, 2010, 07:53:00 PM »
Is it just me or is it just me... lol

I swear my memory is going. I had a bow that I got from RC that I really liked a bunch but I traded it or maybe sold it.

I'm not going to try to tell anyone that I can remember which any more.

To make matters worse my thinking about this bow just won't go away so the more I thought about her I started asking myself why was it that I got rid of her. I came to the conclusion that it had to have been the draw weight.
The next question was what exactly was the draw weight? I couldn't remember.. not a problem right? Just send a pm to the person who got her!

Now I've pm'd two different guys only to get responses telling me "you must be confused"..lol I got such and such bow from you but not that one.

I am going to "own it".. my lack of memory that is. I'm not going to be stupid as I was in my youth when I wouldn't stop and ask directions for anything.

I'm just going to admit I don't have a clue and ask.. has anybody seem "Keeper Kat"...lol
Howard Hill Cheetah? She had her eyes out front!!

Thanks! Please try not to hurt yourself laughing.

Just tell yourself.. yep that's Mudd and he's harmless.

God bless,Mudd

Don't feel alone Mudd. It's all part of becoming more experienced. We just can't remember what they were.

Hope you find her Mudd!

Please don't try to confuse the old folks....lol

Man! I could've sworn that "Keeper Kat" was a Hill bow.

Now I am going to have to ponder on this one, maybe scratch my head a little.

I'll be back.... as soon as I figure somethings out...lol

Mudd,
I've done the exact same thing.  Sometimes I find the bow cause I didn't sell it or it has just disappeared on it's own.  I should keep notes but then I'd never find 'em  :)   Doc

You too? Keep a notebook, just the date, what you bought and the reason.  When you sell something do the same. Pretty soon you see a pattern...total confusion; that's when you will stop.

Mudd, If you traded that for that bow to RC, you probably sent him your 49# Mohawk for his Howard Hill Cheetah. The Cheetah was about 53 or 54#

I have always had a bad memory and it is getting worse as I get older.  But, being the optimist that I am I just figure that it will make the transition to alzheimers much easier!

It's always frustrating to get into a room and forget why you went there.

Sometimes I just forget that I have a bad memory.
