For the many that didn't know, Terry climbed into his vehicle last Saturday morning before the crack of dawn to come down to Fort Benning, GA. He did this to help me and my family with some of the household and personal effects of Chris'. He stayed all day and left late that evening with Chris' RV/trailer, a canoe, and as much as his vehicle and the RV/trailer storage compartments would hold. He placed these items in his warehouse until I am ready to decide on disposition. Joining him here at Fort Benning was the Wilson family, Don, Tammy (his lovely wife), and Skyler.
I don't know how to thank Terry and the Wilson's for all that they did.
The funeral home delivered Chris' remains on Saturday afternoon while Terry and the Wilson's were here. I wanted to do this because Chris was so attached to this site, and it was good having Terry represent and be here on behalf of everyone from this wonderful site.
My son visited this site often as many of you have already posted -- this was his life -- to be near what he truly loved -- TRADITIONAL ARCHERY!
My hat's off to Terry and the Wilson's -- and to all the TGers for the warm posts, items donated, and the bidders themselves. My oldest grandson and my granddaughter have visited this site often, reading over and over what has transpired since my son's death. My wife also joined us to read the posts for as long as she could without breaking down. This outpoor from all is overwhelming. I just can't put into words what I want to say to all of you.
Terry, thank you once again for the many hours you have dedicated to me and my family for Chris! THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERY THING!
