My family came from Holland to "New Amsterdam" (New Youk) in 1643.  I am the 21st generation in the US and still pure Holland Dutch....

I love it that I get to say Merry Christmas to folks way over in Europe, our neighbors to the North and South of us,literally all over the world.

This old world has done some shrinking from the time I was a kid until now. But then again "Moby Dick" was in a fish bowl when I was a kid..lol
