I received a great nights sleep. I dreamt of rabbit hunting with friends. I woke up rested and smiling remembering all the great friends and acquaintances I have met through my passion.

I made my nephew a PVC bow and one for his best friend (now 3 years old)

My Father received an Arm Guard made by Ron W. and Mike Mittens O.W.T.W. book.

I bought an old bow from a friend that I have wanted for 8 months. Finally saved enough or it after all this time. Merry Christmas to me I guess.

I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends.
Relax,

We haven't opened any family gifts as yet but I did get from Grapes a wonderful heavy cotton plaid shirt that I just love. It's so very comfy and looks great too.

I'll update my list later today when I get to see what else "santa" brought.

Merry Christmas and God bless

Laminations from kennym.

Started the bow last week.  Wish I would have started it sooner so that I could have been flinging arrows Christmas morning.  Still have a few coats of finish to apply.

You can check out the build over in the Bowyers Bench.

i got small but amazingly well stufed first aid kit for my Quiverbelt from my brother.

My girlfriend got pink fletched arrows with pink wraps and a bowquiver, fleece longjohns and a woolblanket sown into a sleeping bag cover from me.

Her godchilds got a bow, 6 arrows, qiver, armguard, glove and target each from my girlfriend and me.

The trainer of our club (good friend of mine) got a big wall clock with my interpretation of terrys formclock a s a background from me.

Anothe good friend of mine also got a wool blanket sown into a sleeping bag cover from me.

So i didnt really receive trad-stuff but gave away alot of it.

The kids got new arm guards and the girl got her own back quiver. Now they don't have to share and can shoot at the same time. They're pumped. Of course more arrows are in the works. Her birthday is next week.

At the risk of sounding pig headed I'd like to say I "got trad wise" a room full of stuff that has been growing for years. Being fortunate and married to a wonderful woman is an under statement. So...

Gonna spend this year using what I have and be thankful for Gods grace. After all, material items are just that. Our human condition and the ability to enjoy our bows and arrows is what the gift of life is all about.

Merry Christmas!
