I got a beautiful wool shirt from a fellow traditionalist, Ed Hamman, and two wool sweaters from Papa Frank here on Tradgang, and some quality time with my daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons.  I am truly blessed.

Great Christmas all around.

The best (and most trad) Trad gift I got for Christmas was an outstanding gift (and outstanding bow) from one of our fellow members here at tradgang. An Osage self bow made by "Stiks-n-strings". Sticks made it to be a part of his primitive gear to hunt deer during the 2010 season. Stiks doesn't sell his bows but seldom keeps them for too long, as he feels if he gets to liking one too much - he might not get busy and make another. IMO this one could perhaps have done that to him. It is a great bow and I love it and will cherish it. It shoots like a dream and as soon as we get some weather that these old bones can stand for more than necessaries, I will get some pictures of it into a thread here in the powwow forum. Thank you so much, my friend.

My Daughter,  Lois, did give me a trad (to me) sweat shirt  (I wear those a lot), in a real nice dark brown color with a beautiful Buck and Doe painted on it, and  the words White Tail Country. I'm gonna be spending a lot of time between now and next season looking for that "Country" too - LOL. We had a great Christmas with family and friends/neighbors.

1 Dozen arrows, half dozen flu-flu's, New Art LAHA DVD, TBM subscription, TBM T-shirts, Recurve case, broadheads, The Adventures of Fred Bear book and A Man made of Elk, by my favorite objectivist bowhunter, David Peterson. So with the help of TBM and 3-Rivers, my wife set me up pretty nice!

Of course, I just got my new 3-rivers catalog yesterday, and those new Bears sure have me thinking!

Well its not "Trad Gear" but it will be used to shoot traditional at, but I had to add some Christmas accent to it.

The most snow overnight I've seen in TN in 8 years and a whole morning in the woods by myself to enjoy it. A White Christmas and stalking deer make for a great holiday. Very Grateful.
