Snake Skin follow-up

A few weeks ago I had asked about where to get good snake skins. Several people suggested Mike Yancy with Pine Hollow Longbows, so I contacted Mike and decided to get some Prarie Rattler skins for my first attempt at skinning a bow. I want to tell you guys you were right on with Mike. He took several minutes to explain several details of applying the skin and answered all of my questions. The skins were top rate and the service was excellent. Her is a picture of mt first attempt, I think they turned out great, I have to apoligize for the picture, thats not one of my specialties. Bottom line, If I can do this anyone can. RW

Two questions if you dont mind:
What did you use for glue?
What did you seal it with, and did you re-seal the whole limb?
Thanks

Used Titebond 3, Mike said either 2 or 3 would work. Used a Satin Polyurathane spray to finish about 5 coats, did not seal entire limb.
One tip Mike gave me is put the glue on the skin and not the limb. You use less glue this way and do not have as much mess to clean off side of limb. RW

That came out real nice! I'm prepping to do some myself and hope I do as well.
