Shrew Lovers! Come Drool!
« on: December 30, 2010, 07:58:00 PM »
I am very excited to have gotton this Super Shrew Gold!  The grip is the best I've ever had on a longbow.  I am also suprised at how quick it is for a 50 lbs. bow!!!

I got it a few days ago and have been out of town, and got home today and got it dialed in! Man I am so excited about it!!!

 Couple questions:

1. I've got a Kanati (anawakee archery) quiver on it.  The instruction sheet says somethign about not having a quiver around the limb base that consticts it, as it might cause damage to the bow?  I will re read it, but is this quiver ok to use with the bow or should I go with a different style?

2. I've found the brace height that it likes is about 7 3/4...  Is that uncommon with shrews? I draw about 29.5 inches and this is a 60 inch bow...

Blessings,
Steve

Steve you are fine with the quiver and the brace height for starters. Play around with it from 7 3/8 to where you are right now for comparison purposes. Real nice point and shoot qualities in the shrew. Enjoy.tm

Sure thing Ed!  They don't get any better than this, but I do get board real easy...

I think this would be the perfect bow if it were made in 64' long...

Steve

Ed, I can't believe "Builder" sold it back to you!  Good for you!

These shrews are sure nice!  They feel like a match stick after shooting a widow recurve, but it is so nice!!!

Steve

A true beauty to behold.. be yet a true beauty to Be-holding.

To say it's nice "doesn't cut the mustard" with this one.

Congratulations!!

Please don't show me any more bows like this as I have more than enough on my wish list as it is...lol

God bless,Mudd

Now Pastor, are you encouraging your fellow Tradgangers to break the 10th commandment by the title of your thread?!?!?!?!?     :saywhat:

Great looking bow Steve. I had a 50# Super Samaurai I got from Ralph in Georgia. I had a weak moment one day and sold it back to him. Still sick over that one. Hang on to this one.
