One proud guy
« on: December 30, 2010, 08:35:00 PM »
So I come home tonight and I see my new issue of Traditional Bowhunter came in the mail. I flip through the pages and notice my lovely girlfriend, Stacey Burkitt, in the new STOS add and my best friend, Jonathan Lance in the Traditional Harvests section with the buck he killed at 10 yards from the ground with my old 71 Super K. I gave him that bow for Christmas this year. I told him that after he took 3 deer with it in his first year ever of bowhunting, one of those deer being that nice 8 point in the magazine, that the bow didn't fit in my bow rack anymore, that it belonged in his hands.

Needless to say, I am one very proud guy and even more so for what both Stacey and Jonathan accomplished.
