Stalker Longbows
« on: December 31, 2010, 12:24:00 PM »

Got an email from South Cox last night, in response to one I sent. He will be building the hybrid longbows in 3 models, similar to the three models and pricing of his recurves...FWIW.

Actually, I just woke up from a long winter's nap...  :D
I remember the thread, remember reading the first part, and don't remember that it was South's thread! Of all the things I've lost in this life, I miss my mind the most, methinks.  :goldtooth:

I think he will have some at KaZoo. Sounds like you can order them now. Looking forward to shooting them next month myself.

CoachA, Here's part of the email I got from South:

"Andy,

I'm now taking orders and building both the takedown longbows and a new 1
piece longbow (haven't shared it on Tradgang yet).  There is three models
(just like my recurves) that are all distinguished by the accent stripes
that go through the handles.  I've just finished a couple of handles on what
will be the high end model (The Tracker).  The handle on Tradgang is the
mid-range (price wise) and I will be gluing up the actionwood handle next
week which will have the lowest price point.  The prices will be the same as
my recurves, less a $50.00 discount during their introduction for the
duration of 2011.  They are available in all of the woods my recurves are. "

coachA,
Orders are going in as we speak.  I'm not sure how he did it, but Randy got in line before me!

Hey Andy,
Nice pic...I thought only I had the "pass" to hunt on that property.    :biglaugh:

Happy New Year Gang!
Ryan
