roughly 225 potential snipers
« on: June 03, 2007, 07:35:00 PM »
@225 members and guests cirling on the St Judes site.  Not a lot of bidding going on.  Must be about $5000 worth of last minute subterfuge about to be unleashead.  Be sure your computer time is matched to the server time.  Let the real games begin!

Greg,
Just sitting here getting ready to smoke a couple of cigars.  :bigsmyl:
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I don't know about you guys, but I got locked out in the last 5 minutes. I think that new server Terry just bought is smoking right about now. LOL

Hope everyone bid their limit for the kids. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks Terry, Doug and crew for another great event.

Yeah I was shut out for the last ten. Could see the listings but couldn't get into any. It was fun and a new record was born.

Yep, it took me a couple of minutes to figure out what was about - but it didn't surprise me much. Still a great effort all around. If anyone didn't get to spend what they wanted to you can always donate to it via the TGMM thingie for a couple of days , or make cash donations in the open as spelled out on the forum. Right, Doug?

Same here!  Lesson learned!  Bid high early because the system is going to be overloaded!

I never got back to some items that I wanted to, but it looks like I outbid myself on the coolest item on the auction block!  That plains quiver/bow design of Shell's is going to look great!  Now I just have to learn how to build a self-bow and arrows that will touch it off.

Walt, I had fun bidding against you and Tim on those cigars!  You get down to Florida or Georgia and I will buy us some fine cigars to compliment an evening of lying and storytelling.

I can not complain, allthough, there was a thing or two I was going to sneak in on, but it was not to be. Any way, this was my first auction here and I can tell you now, I will deffenitly be putting a few bucks away for the next one. I had fun and it was all for the best cause !!
Thanks to the TradGang folks for put'n this on and giving us all an oppertunity to help out. A very special thanks to all those that donated for the cause, you folks are tops !! My hat is off to all of you, HUZZAH HUZZAH HUZZAH!!!!

Man I couldn't get in for the last 15 minutes either. Heck of a job guys and gals.

I'm thinking you got them Frank, thanks for the donation. If you want them signed it would be our pleasure.

Looks like I am headed for Pike County, IL to hunt bruiser bucks with my new obsidian knives!! And the best part is the kids win too! Thanks for waiting till the last minute guys, I thought it was just my slow land lines not the server. That was FUN!!
