Great picks guys!!  :bigsmyl:

Several of are bucks are shedding right on time. 6 years in a row the have all shed in the first 12 days of September.

With the bad drought and super hot summer we wasn't sure if it would change there timing of shedding but it didn't.

Not sure if I can get this to work or not.  Trying out my Moultrie M100 with video option.  It's just the default 5 second setting, but I'm impressed!  You can see the velvet coming off his antlers.

I can't wait until the annual scrape opens up!!

FYI just click on the picture.

Minnesota buck, no velvet.  This is a really nice buck for my area.  I included the night pic to show his cool little "hook" point and what looks like a lot of character on his bases.  First time I've seen him, hopefully not the last.

Travis I might be helping my little sister move to ND in a couple weeks, I could stop by and introduce that bruiser to a VPA if you want  ;)  Great pics everyone!

This is under the pear tree in my yard. In several pictures the cats were focused intently on the deer- delusions of grandeur!

my cams over the last couple of weeks have started to turn up empty.  It must mean the antlers have shed and the bucks are feeling the cooler air.  Im not sure.

Season is in since yesterday, this is from about 10 days ago.Main reason for the cam was an ATV trespasser who probably stole one of my ladderstands as well. I got his pics and told the landowner. Probably the neighbors kid. The landowner will write him a letter....and I am pretty positive getting the stand back....
I will place an additional treestand tomorrow and will hunt a little, too.

I only link the pictures. Too much fuss getting them into the restricted format.I also only use daylight cameras. I am less interested in what is going on at 1:30 am.... It doesn't help to know what is out there but you'll never see...

This buck is the one I will be hunting this coming week.

He shed Sept. 3rd but must not be rubbing much, I hope the dried velvet stays on and I can get a chance at him. It would be a awesome mount  :)
