After I saw the bigger trees rubbed in the area, I was sure I would see something nice on the camera.  I was nervous with anticipation when I popped the card in the laptop. He was the first thing on it.  While impressive, he was not what I expected to be ripping up the woods. Maybe in a couple years.

I figure he is the son of one of these guys caught on last year’s camera set-up about 40 yd. from this spot.

I've seen spots with bumps, but never 9.7" worth of P&Y bumps!   :D      :D

That's funny. I like the photos where the animals look right at the camera trying to figure it out. I just wish they had an auto focus to take a clear photo.  I have one of my local bear slobbering on my camera.

Haven't posted any Tcam pics for awhile...pulled most of my cameras while archery season was going on here in Oregon.

Here's a couple pics of a young bull just before dark last Friday evening.  My treestand is just up the hill from the wallow...but no, I wasn't in it.  :)

I had it set on two photos and then a short video. Click on the elk for the video...

Tree Killer...Oh how I do enjoy your trail cam pic's.  What brand/model did you use for these?  Boy next year seems far away right now!!

These are some great trail cam pictures!!!

Here are a couple of picts from my buddy's trail cam.  I came face to face with this big boy a couple of times this year, literally within feet of him.    He had a nasty habit of laying behind the barrel and you didn't see him until you walked right up to him.  He was none to scared of humans, he took away a blackbear that my buddy had arrowed.

This old girl charged me one night while walking out from the site.  Luckily I was able to talk her out of it and we both lived to tell the tail.

If there is one animal that frightens me, it's a Grizzly.

Well, that and poisonous snakes (I have stepped over dozens of them and turned around to see them) because I know one of these days my luck is going to run out.

Those grizzlies in wooded areas as massive but they still can creep up and close at 40mph. I'd love to hunt them, but I'd be afraid to go to sleep in a tent because I know I'd wake up to being eaten, lol.   I'd have to put a hammock like 15ft in a tree or something.

Thanks purple heart!  Those pics are from my LTL Acorn 5210A. It's small and compact, and can shoot several pics, then switch to video. It will shoot 12mpx, but I keep it on 5mpx. I've had over 4000 pics on a set of batteries (8 AA's). Been really pleased with it so far!

Great grizz pics thebear_78!  Who's more dangerous, big daddy or mom and her cubs? I'm guessing mom and her cubs!
