Crazy or just:

Am I crazy or just absorbed ?
As most of you know, we have had a pretty big North eastern snow storm recently. Well after clearing out what I could out in front of my house and helping out the neighbors, I went in the back yard with the snow blower and cleared out a area for the little dog to go and do her thing, at least that is what I told my wife and neighbors.

So what if the area is in a double wide path from the steps of the deck leading out to another path that goes from one end of the yard to the other, and happens to be where I shoot my bow, does this put me over the edge ? or just make me a good planner !

Thats what I do.  Except this year I might be able to clear a narrow lane to the back of my garage!

Sounds like a great idea to me. I'm working on a set up in the basement.

We had about 2' plus down here in the central part of the state, it was over the rear deck so the cleared lanes in the backyard are pretty pronounced, and now I can go out and shoot, sounds reasonable to me. It's not even a week and I'm already getting cabin fever.

I guess I can't complain about to much sun all the time.

Amazin, I need to go south to find the snow.  I'm 1 hour north of Detroit, and there is absolutely zero snow here.  We did have a couple inches on the ground a few days ago, but the 40 degree weather and all day rain yesterday took care of the little bit we had.  I do believe we have the answer for why there were so many acorns on the ground this year...Mother Nauture knows what is coming, and preps her creatures for it.  Keep the shovels and snowplows at the ready for I think this is going to be a long winter ahead of us.

i did the same thing this year. only im at my in-laws , and theres no dog... i was out there shoveling the back deck , making it into a snow-fort (think ingloo without the top) , and decided id like to be able to wear normal shoes. they all came out and asked if i felt ok...

nothin like seeing your neighbor shoveling his backyard ....

We don't have any snow right now thanks to the temps we had.  However, I have the ally way in the horse barn (which is attached to the house) to shoot in when the weather gets bad....  Can shoot out to 30 yds inside.  Lack heat but no wind.  Just gotta watch out for the cats...

I hope Grapes is wrong...VERY wrong.

To answer the original question...you are just a good planner. Shoot well and prosper.
