Great story and attitude.  I hope your friend has as much fun as you (and the rest of us) do with the transition.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

TJ, funny story on this bow, this is the 4th time I have given it away, to a newbie, with the stipulation that if they decide to get rid of it they give it back, so I can pass it on to someone else. All 3 previoius owners are still shooting trad, and have one or more bows, this one seems to have a MOJO of its own, an older pearson hunter, with rosewood riser/brown glass, #47, 58".

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
