Congrats to all. Really enjoyed the video. Great job Curt. It always amazes me how a deer that size can hide in a sea of thorns. Good recovery.
As for DW, that's a big old sow. Hope you had plenty of help loading that momma.

The best stories are yet to come....

Here's a few pics of the notorious 'Killin Tree'.  You have to earn your strips to hunt this very special tree....Curt got his this trip....and Skyler no doubt earned his.  Next year Skyler....you're up!!!

This is one of my most favorite pics I've ever taken at the ranch from a stand....So many past memories....

And here's on with Chris' bow hanging in the Killin Tree....

And a few more views.....

Its tough waiting 24 hours between reads on this thread.  Congrats to Skyler on his first deer, a trophy for sure!  Those little rockets at Solana are fast, on edge every second.  Hitting one is indeed an accomplishment.  The video was great, a nice addition to the thread, made it possible to be with you all.  And great hogs for Boyd, Ken and Don.  They are pretty wired in their own right.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.
