I think you goes spent a lot of time at the ranch practicing how to leave us readers hanging on your every word and post.   Yall are some good story tellers and are keeping us all in suspense.

This appears to have been a phenomenial hunt.

Before Jack jumps back in with the rest of his story, I must add that he was extremely nervous about meeting me as he was taking Chris' spot on the hunt.  But we hit it off immediately -- a fine gent that I am happy to be able to call "friend."   After some small talk, he asked if he could take a couple of practice shots with my Kwyk Styk.  Chopx2 had bought the bow pictured with Chris and the pig he had taken.  Chop brought the bow and he wanted to give it to young Chris -- a mighty fine gesture.  I had the bow sitting on the table, and Jack asked if he might be able to shoot it.  After a couple of shots, the Randy Morin Hi-Breed fit Jack perfectly.  He was placing arrows in a group that I would only hope to be able to do.  I told him that he should hunt with the bow. And he did . . .

It was everything you could imagine and more!

Everyone should try to do a group hunt, of some kind, with fellow Trad Gang members.

AND there's several more tales yet to be told on this hunt.

You want me knocking on your door at 4 in the morning wanting story and pics?

Jack is probably off on another " Mission Impossible" but I'm sure he'll be back soon ... That is unless he is at Cabelas, then you may not see him for a while.

Jack and I spent the last day after the hunt together in Austin along with Izzy, Terry, and Stabow. We had the latest flights out so we passed some of the time visiting Cabelas in Buda TX. Jack takes Cabelas shopping to a whole new level, it was like watching my wife at the half yearly sale at Nordstrom. He left no stone unturned.

The wait will be worth it .... I'm sure   :jumper:    :jumper:

The multitudes are getting restless and Virginia isn't that big.  Come on Jack - focus, man.

This must be a whopper of a buck to bring the story telling to such a screeching halt.    :smileystooges:
