Cool old buck, great story. Wasn't you r buck two years ago last morning?  Or am I remembering a different story.  Hard to keep all the stories straight over the years.  Congratulations!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Mike, it was the second to last morning last time.

Thanks Bill, I think he's really cool too!

Terry, When I got that e mail, I refrained from getting too excited till we had a chance to investigate further...but now I couldn't be happier!!!!!!

Again, some things are just meant to be...

AHA, Curt! It is not a good idea to go backwards through the woods around these parts. Do you still have any reminders of that prickly pear in your leg? (haha). Sometimes it seems that those thorns jump off the cactus and into your skin. And sometimes, it is weeks before the little miniature ones work their way out.

Congrats on the nice buck!

Do we have pictures of our Mystery Hunter's Deer?  I can picture the big smile on his face!  At least if it's who I think it is... I remember tracking that deer with a big group after breakfast one day and being unsuccessful at that time...

This is to cool!     :clapper:
