Nice hunting !!  I've been at it for two years and not even a rabbit has been bagged    :banghead:   . As a matter of fact, I haven't even had the chance to let an arrow fly at anything !!!  I am happy for you that you finally got a deer....maybe I'm next in line

Way to go, now the ice is broken. Good of you to hang with the stick. Congrats.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Congrats Tyler!!

Not easy to stick with doing it the "hard" way when there much easier ways to make meat.

I too like to hunt with vintage bows.

Great job! Congratulations. I love those Wing Thunderbirds. I have an AMF era, 50# that my 13 yr. old son has now claimed as "his". Oh well, maybe I'll get it back when he outgrows it.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Five years worth of dedication comes down to only a few seconds!

It is all worth it. In a crowd of people, chances are, YOU are the ONLY one who knows that kind of PRIMAL satisfaction.

Excellent pictures...grandad is all smiles.
