From his lodge went Hiawatha,
Dressed for travel, armed for hunting;
Dressed in deer-skin shirt and leggings,
Richly wrought with quills and wampum;
On his head his eagle-feathers,
Round his waist his belt of wampum,
In his hand his bow of ash-wood,
Strung with sinews of the reindeer;
In his quiver oaken arrows,
Tipped with jasper, winged with feathers;
With his mittens, Minjekahwun,
With his moccasins enchanted.

Great look!

I would make a suggestion to make your look perfect.

Ditch the camo pants or at least minimize them with leggings.

A solid olive green trouser would be awesome added to the outfit.

I am just one person and only have one opinion so don't give this post any more weight than it deserves.

Thank you for sharing.

I give the outfit an overall grade of an A but could be A+.

God bless,Mudd

Dave, I'm gonna wax the haversack and that'll darken it up a bit. Plus with use over the spring/summer, I figure it'll be about ready for hunting season.

Roy suggested a trade off but, I burned up my wifes sewing machine making this last one. I'll need to get some more material and then buy her a new machine. She wants a heavier duty one for her birthday next month then, I'll see if Roy wants to make that trade.   :)

I don't even know what a haversack is.  Good luck killin' stuff with it, though.

pdk25: A haversack is the bag hanging from my right side. It is used to hold essentials while afield. This one is made with all period correct materials.

Guess me & pdk are the only ones that don't know what a haversack is. I thought it was the shirt; but, it's dark already. The bag is cool but pretty distinguishable. It could use some dark. Cool anyway. I too would vote for some deerskin leggings. The Hill goes good w/anything.

Here on Tradgang, we all love it... but just to be sure that we have taste, you should show up at a major 3D competition for a second opinion.
