I've done it before, the other shooters might have been jealous of my kilt or buckskins but they were nice about it.

TW is just the man to show'em how a real traditional bowhunter should look when properly attired.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who thought the haversack was the shirt....

However, what do you put in it?

Thanks Roy! I've got no qualms in wearing that attire to a 3D shoot. I like to make my own trails and go as I see fit.

Roy, now that's what I'm talking about! Love it.            :biglaugh:

Semo: The shirt is one of Ron LaClairs long hunter pull overs. I love it and it surely will keep you warm on a cold day!

Looking good man.  Don't listen to these haters - that stuff is pure dynamite in the deer woods.  I think our hunting kits were separated at birth...

It wasn't quite cool enough that day for my longhunter shirt or my GFA pullover but I'm usually rocking one or the other (or both when it's really cold).

Isn't a haversack one of those things the kids kick around the parking lot at the 7-11???

Deer don't mind being shot by Calvin Klein or Paco Raban, they just don't to get caught.Nice medieval look set up.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

I have found that if a hunter dresses properly then
you can just "ugly" their small game down.

You just have to be careful how outlandish you take it because you can tear them up too badly sometimes...lol

Not sure about a kilt but spent alot of time in a breech clout and a pair of leggins (yes your safe I won't share that image). But Mudd that was one image I was fighting visualizing.  Wannabe I think your outfit will work great. Darken the bag with some walnut hull dye if needed then wax it and your good to go. But green wool pants would work really great out there come hunting season.
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

Mudd,

Your wife is going to be PISSED when she sees what you did to the tablecloth.  (Psssst - your sporran is open!)

First thing the local native Nations did when trade opened was to lose the buckskin and get wool to make leggins and breeches.  I figure they were no dummies.

   :biglaugh:

I keep an old towel in my haversack (a gray canvas WWII surplus Swedish gas mask bag) so if I tuck a bunny or two in to carry it the blood doesn't soak the bag.

Mudd that outfit is pretty cool, but I wouldn't wear it in the Appalachian mountains on a canoe trip.Wannabe you may get away with yours, as long as you keep the knees covered up.   :goldtooth:
