OK, sorry about that. I had more emails from work to answer than I cared for. Some moch for PTO.
Steve and I pulled into Hanesville GA about noon on Monday the 6th. Wal-Mart sold license's so we stopped there first. I feel sorry for folks in GA that don't have humans avalible to process a small game license. Wal-mart is one of those places. An hour or so later we got tags and then it was to the Ft Stewart permit office to get hunting permits. Long story short, Ft Stewart has rules, lots of them. Obey the rules, get your permits, call in to hunt, call out when done and it's a breeze. Fail to follow the rules and life is not a breeze. Roberts help in this department was a blessing.
Tuesday morning rolls around and 7am sharp RC shows up at our camp site. I liked him right off when he ripped me about my small backbacking tent I'd brought asking if it was my kids tent. My kinda guy. Off to the woods and at 8:30 off to my right 6 or 7 pigs are scooting through the bush 100 yards off. They had someplace to be and I couldn't catch up to them but it was a great way to start off the day.
