I liked the bucket hats, but can't find one anymore either.  Does anyone remember the short brimmed hat that was worn with the back brim folded up?  If you folded it down it looked like a beach hat.  I can't remember the name of this one either, but it was promoted as an archer's hat.  I tried it and hated it:(!  For years, I have just been wearing a baseball cap backwards, but I do miss the brim sometimes.  Otherwise, you could always just learn to shoot with your bow canted more, eh?

Regarding bucket hats.  I trimmed the brims on a few of my boonie hats and voila instant bucket hats.  Just two minutes with a pair of scissors.  Also boonies are available in pretty much every camo pattern and color you could want.

Take a look at Day One Camo.  I've been wearing theirs for several years for early Fall hunts here in Colorado.

The Wensels' hat is the only hat I can wear that absolutly will not hit the string including my old Jones style hats.

I prefer gentlemen's caps and am able to shoot with them on both ways.

I think the Nocking Point and Wensel hats are identical, and BigJims may be too. BigJims has a different color/pattern. The wire brim is great for rolling it up for string clearance or like mentioned, holding a hood back off your face. Seems they all run $8-$10.

1+ for the Filson packer.

I also have a cotton bucket hat made by Stetson that I got pretty cheap at their outlet store.

Another warm weather hat for me is a cheap flexible straw hat from Wmart.

Friend, I love that bow rack, very classy, and fine looking bows too. That Buck is a real trophy!

Brothers of the Bow with wire brim are the most adaptable to any style of shooting.

I could be wrong, but I believe Filson still makes that style hat.

That said, I personally prefer a Filson Packer. The one I wear now I purchased new in 1994 and it's still going strong.

The brothers of the bow hats are the style I was looking for. I would really love one that was mesh but I doubt I'll be able to find one.

DannyBows - Thank you for the complements.

The bow rack will show considerable improvement with the addition of my Dream TC.
