I have been getting some "sneak Previews" of my beautiful character Guava bow from Manny, and I am so excited I  stammer a lot these days. I'm always thinking about it when I am trying to do other things - LOL. I have some previous in progress pics on the Gallery (numbers 13 and 14 as I recall) pages of my web site. When Manny sent me a PM just a few short days ago telling me it was finished and ready to ship, I had a hard time getting my breath - I mean it. I am so honored by it, and anxious to see/hold/shoot it - well ... you can only imagine. Bless you, Manny for your craft, hard work, and generousity, and you all will see and hear more about the bow when it arrives at it's new home in the "Mainland". A Glorious gift from my "Heart Home" of Hawaii, from a fine friend.

Oh yeah, love those tip pics, Manny!

Holy smoke. Amazing. My bow looks like it just grew out of the ground. Very nice Manny. The tips are beautiful too. Funny to think that it I will be shooting it in the redwoods, being a tropical wood. I'm sure the bow will like it here. I am just four blocks from the beach.

I look forward to seeing it and shooting it. Thank you very much, Manny.

Best,  Bob

I got to see these in their infancy and was amazed Manny was even thinking they'd make bows. I had my doubts but the proofs in the puddin and all done with no power tools! Awesome work Buddy, thanks for the pics!

Manny,
Still cranking out those awesome guava bows I see.  I just missed you at the shoot at Wailua.  You got alot of people talking about your bows at the shoot.  They even started a selfbow division!

I just noticed (from Ghost Dogs Bio) that one of these two bows will be going to the West Coast (CA) and the other to the East Coast (NC).

What does that mean? I don't know - I tol ya, I can't even talk straight these days -   :goldtooth:

Manny,

I'm floored by your craftsmanship.  Those are two of best "character" bows I've ever seen.

How the heck do you even tiller those things?  Do you try to get each limb to move the same amount relative to each other and not worry about getting a perfect arc?

Those are fantasic.

Ghost Dog and Bernie, please post fulldraw pics when the bows arrive.

Stan, getting a perfect arc on Bob's bow would be impossible, just get an immaginary arc on the top limb to match the bottom one,  Bernie's I think came out with a pretty good arc, I'm trying to get some better pictures today and full draw to.

Ryan good to hear from you.

thanks for the compliments

NS,
Did you ever finish your Osage/Guava comparison bows?  Seems you were mid - build along when you slipped under the radar for a bit.
